Serving ages 3-14 in the DC Metro Area during college breaks and Salisbury, MD, during fall and spring semesters.I’m experienced with children with disabilities and have experience with young children.I believe in being respectful, calm, and engaged with every child in my care, unless they’d prefer some alone time! I always make sure they and I follow the house rules!If I’m ever unavailable due to illness, an emergency, or a scheduling conflict, I’ll do my best to ensure you're not left without reliable childcare by helping you find another trusted sitter. I have several sitters I can recommend to families if needed.

A: Absolutely!

A: Not yet! I hope to learn how to drive soon! I can travel to you or with your child via MetroBus or Metro.

Q: Do you have reliable transportation?

A: Absolutely! I’m always happy to help with any sort of light housekeeping you may need!
Q: Can you vacuum after playtime or meals?
A: Absolutely. I believe in leaving things tidy. I will only vacuum upon request.

A: Yes, I am! I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats!

A: Art, crafts, games and etc. I also love to do any activities that interest the kid or kids!
Q: How will you stay in touch during the babysitting time?
A: I will stay in touch in whatever method you prefer, and I will only message you if you want check-ins or ask a question. I don’t believe in bombarding parents with random updates.
Q: How do you handle tantrums or difficult behavior?
A: I would speak firmly but calmly and be stern if needed. But also help them understand why they can’t do something if they did something wrong.
Q: Can we count on you to keep things tidy?
A: Absolutely! Any messes we make I will clean up before the you return home! I believe that mess that happens during the job shouldn’t be left for the parents to clean up!
Q: Are you okay with no pictures or social media posts of the kids?
A: Yes, of course! I will never take pictures of your house or kids without permission.
Q: How do you comfort a child who is upset or scared?
A: I will give them affection in whatever appropriate ways they prefer, like a hug, or reassure them they are safe. I will also talk it out with them to figure out how we can make them feel safe or better whenever they are ready to talk. I will never pressure a child to talk before they are ready.
Q: Can you walk with or take public transportation with the child if needed?
A: Absolutely!
Q: How do you handle sibling arguments or conflicts?
A: I would listen to both sides and rephrase what they said, then guide them to coming up with a compromise!
Q: Do you mind if the house is messy before you babysit?
A: I don’t mind mess at all; I completely understand not all parents may have time to clean before going out. I also understand that kids are naturally messy. I won’t judge.
Q: Are you accepting of same sex couples?
A: Heck yeah!
Q: Can you do outings with my children?
A: Absolutely!

Q: I use child-centered discipline and connection-centered discipline!
Q: What if my child has a hard time separating from me?
A: I will meet them with patience and warmth. In the past, to distract kids from feeling sad, I had them make a "welcome back" card for their mom!

A: I will use countdowns, reminders, and choices, like if they do multiple things in the bedtime routine, I would say, “You want to do this or this first.”
Q: What if I’m running late getting home?
A: No problem at all, just send me a message. I’m happy to stay late when needed, and I’ll keep your child safe and comfortable until you return.

Services & Pricing:

  • Daytime Activity Babysitter - Pricing varies depending on the activity booked through SitterCity. Engages children in fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities during the day. The activities typically last 1-2 hours. You can book me for multiple activities!

  • Date Night Sitter — $15 per hour: Reliable care during evenings you can enjoy a worry-free night out.

  • Regular Babysitter — $15 per hour: Consistent, scheduled childcare tailored to your family’s routine, after school, weekends, or specific days.

  • Parent’s Helper — $10 per hour: Assists you by providing extra hands while you’re home, helping with childcare and light household tasks.

  • Overnight Babysitter — $20/hour per child: Cares for children during nighttime hours, allowing you to rest knowing their kids are safe and attended.

  • Event Babysitter — $21 per hour: Manages groups of children at events like weddings, parties, or family gatherings, ensuring fun and safety.

  • Emergency Babysitter — $25 per hour: Available on short notice for unexpected childcare needs, providing flexible and prompt support when you need it most.

Payment must be made within 48 hours of the babysitting session. I will not be available for future babysitting until the full payment is received.

Life happens, so I offer free cancellations with no penalties or fees.

The only thing I require is the other parents number for coordination.
There are no booking fees or hidden costs. I believe in being upfront, fair, and direct in all my services.
